Dr Punita Taneja

Dr Taneja is a highly experienced and qualified dentist. She completed her BDS in 1997 and completed her 1 year compulsory training the following year from Manipal Academy of Higher education India. She ran a successful practice in India for six years before she moved her base to U.K in 2006 after successfully completing her IQE in 2005.She has passed her MFDS and extensively engaged in postgraduate education. She has attended 2 year certificate course in dental implants at the Royal College of Surgeons.

She has done Mini Residency in state-of-art Endodontics I: by Prof John West  in America where she has learnt the most advanced and up-to-date procedure and techniques in Root Canal Treatment. She did a course on Esthetic Posterior Restoration :Mastering direct,semi direct and indirect techniques by Pascal Magne , California. U.S. In February 2014 she attended “Plastic Esthetic Periodontal & Implant surgery” by Otto Zuhr. She also attended “Predictable Aesthetics and Longetivity with bonded Porcelain restorations” by Pascal Magne and Michel Magne.

She went to Germany to attend “Advance training program on bone grafting and soft tissue management” by Prof Faud Khoury .She went to U.S to attend “Controversies and innovation in Implants and Esthetics “by Dennis Tarnow.She has completed 1 year certificate course run by Dr Michael Wise in Wimpole Street in London. She has  attended numerous courses, seminars, conferences, lectures on the subject of dentistry . She  now invests her time heavily in training her fellow dentist in evidence based dentistry at Alliance Academy.

She provides IV sedation for nervous patient and her calm and caring manner makes her an excellent dentist for the more nervous patients. She is wonderful when it comes to treating children as she is kind and caring. She is also able to provide invisible braces C-fast/ Fast braces and teeth lightening to patients.
